Klaus von Lancaster is the most charming 10 month old German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix. Klaus is a gentle soul and a nurturer. He is in a family that fosters dogs. Klaus was sick for so many months, that finally his foster family couldn’t image life without him. Klaus helps with fostering dogs; he seems to have a sense of what dogs coming into his home need to make them feel more comfortable. His basic approach is, all dogs must love stuffed animals like he does so he first brings them an assortment of his favorite toys and bears. Klaus is wonderful with young litters of pups, he doesn’t mind if they crawl all over him and try to nurse his ears. Klaus is also great buddies with his canine brother. His forever family thinks Klaus is a gift for something they did right!
